Nerja is a town in the province of Malaga (Spain) and the easternmost town in the region of Axarquia. It is a tourist destination belongs to the Costa del Sol has an official population of more than 22,000, nearly one third of foreign residents, mainly British. following the Prado Museum in Madrid and the Alhambra in Granada. Under the Muslim kingdom, the name was Narixa,
which means "abundant supply" and that is the source of the current name. In the center of town is the
Balcon de Europa, a viewpoint which gives stunning views of the sea to its guests.
